About Us

Madhar Nala Thondu Niruvanam, Popularly known as MNTN, an organization started in 1981, by Thiru.K.Perumal, a Visionary with Zeal for the empowerment of rural women in cuddalore district. MNTN got registered under the indian societies registration act a non profitable social service organization in 1984 with registration number 17/84.

Currently his son Mr Rajendran, executive director, oversees operations.

Senior Executive Madam Mrs Srimathi Rajendiran also the executive director, oversees operations assist with Mr Rajendran

Vision

To develop and build up a rural society with economic empowerment through association of women by encouraging literacy, income generating activities,savings,Human Rights and total health care.

Mission

Empowerment of rural women through literacy and good health.
Empowerment of rural youth through vocational skill trades.
Educating the rural society to have national spirit,saving tendency and self respect.
Providing health care to rural poor especially children,women and elders.

Directors Note

In our 38 years of existence, we have ploughed through many twists and turns, especially as we tried to gain more visibility and shed more light on the urgency of life skills. We endured countless rejections because our work was perceived to be too vague and intangible. However, the work on the field told us a very different story. We witnessed countless young people change the script of their lives and we knew that life -skills was the missing piece in helping young people overcome adversity.
